Taare Zameen Par review

I had wanted to write some movie review for a long time(i consider myself a connoisseur in this). Let me start this with a decent movie "Taare Zameen Par" review. Having grown with a healthy diet of malayalam movies frankly i dont think that acting in TZP was exceptional..it was brilliant in patches. But what makes this film worth watching is the direction and the approach to explain something like dyslexia to "Indian" audience.

Hats off to Aamir for making such a novel movie, while most of his contemporaries churn out dud box-office hits, this guy stands apart, he seems to be the only person in the entire Indian film industry who is really concerned about our society..RDB,Taare Zameen Par..In this film the effort that he takes to explain what is dyslexia and the difference between mentally-challenged and dyslexic child is amazing..the flow of events is "crafted to perfection" without being preachy..

Having brought up in the Indian education system, i can clearly understand how tuff it would be for a dyslexic child, its all about marks/ranks here.Even today our top management institutes require 99.9%ile and that too from one of the toughest entrance exams in the world..So it is a "must-watch" for all Indian parents and they should know there is something called dyslexia, how diff it is from retardness and how those special children have to be dealt with..I say this 'coz many of my colleagues dint know about dyslexia..SO ALL OF U ZIIIMBBBLY GO AND WAATTTCHHHH ITTTT !!

P.S:
The mother in the movie, watches a video of her child, and when the video ends we see "white grains" on the TV, this can happen only if there is no signal and not when u watch using AV.
I was like the physically challenged boy in the boarding school(as in movie), in the sense i knew that whatever i was learning was crap but still scored high marks. This continued till college, only diff being that the latter dint happen in college :D.

Rating 7/10
