Deafening silence

This silence is really killing me...

Bad are the weekends when i dnt get to see my girl. I just remain locked inside my apartment. Usually there are two things which prevent me from going insane during such nights. Either the crickets or the noise from my fan. But as my parents were planning to visit me for diwali, i decided to fix the fan, my bad that was one dreadful mistake. On that miserable day, the crickets too had gone on vacation, so there was dead-silence, truly an eerie feeling. I have heard the songs in my system so many times, that now i doubt this practice to be the reason for all the bad-blocks in my HDD. Anyway got fed-up with that, so decided not to listen them, no TV please, nothing good to watch at nite. Back to my problem..this silence..it was deafening, i got up, wanted to tear my face and scream aloud. Hmm, then i got one crazy idea, left the refrigerators' door open for few minutes, closed it and rushed back to my bed..Yahooooooooo!!! now i have someone for company, my refrigerator was speaking to me and i could sleep with some consolation...
