tamil movie about eelam struggle

Long before i read about chaos theory, i was a firm believer that all the events happening in life are somehow related to one another. Yesterday, i was watching ipl2 chennai vs punjab and match was interrupted due to rain. As i had already set this time aside to watch the match, i didn't have anything else to do, so was hopping channels for a while and landed in vijay tvs dance show. One of the participants was portraying the harrowing experiences of tamils in lanka, it really was a good performance, after which the entire cast, people in the studio and the judges were in tears and gave him a standing ovation.

After seeing this, i was wondering why haven't we made any tamil movie about eelam struggle, maniratnam touched it briefly(kannathil muthamittal), but did not do a deep-dive like his film on mumbai riots(bombay),terrorists in kashmir(roja). We do lot of things to register our protest self-immolation,hate speeches, fast until death..why not make a powerful movie on the lines of Schindler's list, the pianist. There are hundreds of movies depicting holocaust, german occupation of poland, all excellent documentaries. This tamil film should capture the real agony, everything including the death of the proud tamil mother who died suckling her kid to safety while drinking only sea water for more than 10 days en route of her escape from lanka to india

There is no dearth of talent in tamil film industry, some one should take it up and show the truth about eelam struggle to the whole world.
